for some reason I see the goat sighing red breath rather than spitting blood, like he wants to say something so bad and important that his breath is colored red from holding it in, but then he sighs...from seeing how useless and a waste of breath it would be since it won't change anything or won't be heard, so he suck it up, going back into his mouth and going up to his face in disappointment/defeat.
it's perfect for a goat since it can be seen as a sacrifice for others good, but not for itself, so people won't acknowledge it's feelings or right if it can serve their purpose.
I think I went a bit too far in this, but that's what I saw in this brilliant little thing
